Son of James Hanson and Charlotte Hanson 160 Stockbrook Street Derby. Died 25th September 1915. Worked for the Mapperley Colliery company. One of 66 men who worked the company and died in the First World War. He is named on the colliery memorial sited at the gates of St. Wilfrid's church West Hallam village.
